Full and half day professional development workshops are designed for educators based on the engaging stories and collections at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center. Workshops focus on building teachers’ content knowledge as well as providing strategies for social studies instruction. Educators will learn about the Museum’s methods of teaching history through narrative, primary source documents and artifacts. Programs can be customized and can be made available on demand for district-wide offerings such as professional development days.
