What
kind of parking is available?
Parking for cars is available on the premises. Bus parking
is available across the street from the museum.
Is the Museum wheelchair accessible?
The first floor of the Museum is wheelchair accessible. Strollers
are not permitted.
What is the tour schedule?
February - December: Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 1 pm
to 4 pm. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes and is lead
by guides in period costumes. The last tour begins at 3:30
pm. (The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Independence
Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)
Is there an admission charge?
Adults $5.00 Seniors and Students $3.00 Children under
12 $2.00, Members Free.
Do
you have a gift shop?
For creative gift ideas try The Museum Gift Shop where
you'll find a selection of books associated with Ridgefield,
the Keeler, Resseguie and Gilbert families and other unique
publications. You'll also find exquisite handcrafted jewelry,
a wide assortment of paper products, children's items, and
unique household accessories. Open during regular Museum hours
and by appointment during business hours.
Can
your tour program accommodate large groups?
To ensure a smooth visit, groups of 10 or more should
make advance reservations. Groups should arrive at the museum
15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time and should
allow a total of 1 hour for the visit. To book a group tour,

Do you have family and genealogy records?
Yes, but only for the Keeler, Resseguie, and Gilbert families.
Are there any restrictions on access or use of the web

All text and images published on this website are for personal

No. For special projects prior permission must be obtained
in writing from the Museum.

It is the umbrella organization that operates the Keeler
Tavern Museum and the Cass Gilbert Garden House.
